Although I couldn't find any exact builder info on this CNJ 0-8-0C camelback, it was built in 1918 by either, Alco, Baldwin or CNJ shops with the latter being the best guess. The entire E1 class (later reclassified as 8S53 was scrapped between 1948-1954. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
