Portraits 3. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via Charles E. Winters that was taken at the Passenger Station in Englewood, Illinois, on 13 October 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3847, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during April of 1923, rebuilt by Lima with rotary cam poppet valves in 1939, and retired in November of 1953 after 30 years of faithful service.
