MDiv. Here is the second of three successive duplicate 35mm color slides of photos by Nelson Bowers that were taken in Mifflin, Pennsylvania, in January of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6816, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during September of 1926 and retired in June of 1959 after 33 years of faithful service. At the right is MIFFLIN Tower; partially visible at the far left is the Mifflin Freight Station. ("Stoneborobranch"; #12 of 56) |
