Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania Railroad employees begin salvaging engines which were buried in the river sand during the Johnstown Flood." The Flood occurred on Friday, 31 May 1889. Both of these locomotives appear to be "H" Class (2-8-0) "Consolidations." |
