We crossed the massive Mississippi River into Iowa which would be our turning location. When we crossed the bridge we noticed the gates were down on the road where BNSFs seldom used Hannibal Sub continues north to the Burlington. Sure enough, a northbound corn syrup train was heading north. Sadly we werent able to get to the crossing quick enough to get a head on shot, which vould have been nice considering this line sees laybe 2-4 trains a day. |
