| The 1 P.M. "North Pole Express" approaches the "North Pole" setup on SPUD's tail track. Since the late, great Walter Lord once wrote a book called "Peary To The Pole," I decided to paraphrase the title of that book for this picture. It seemed to fit. The 261 crew member waiting in the cab door is going to part part in the events involving Santa's visit to the train. |
