Again there is some conflicts in researching the origin of this car but it appears to have been built by American Car & Foundry in 1905 as a class MP-41, the first class of electric MU's to serve LIRR. Note the brass marker lights. It had a 41 foot interior. Date and location are approximate. J. Rugen was the photogrpaher and this photo came from the Art Huneke collection. |
