On a dark and very stormy night train 944 hit a wash out west of Chippewa Falls. The engines and 1 car stayed on the tracks, but 35 cars behind that derailed. Was on the wrecking crew and was called out. We worked for almost 24 hours with Hulcher to clear the mainline and get the trains rolling. |
