| Delivered in January 1972 to Missouri Pacific as GP38-2 881, this unit lost it's Jenks blue dip job and cab strobe light upon entering the UP fleet. Later this diesel wore MP 2032 to UP 2032 and is now 312. While UP purged itself of nearly all the dynamic brakeless SD40/SD40-2 fleet, the GP38-2s remained. |
