| OKLAHOMA CITY July 1977 -- Amtrak SDP40f 517 leads the Lone Star past mile post 386 and a Santa Fe train with lease power waiting on the siding. EMD built the 517 (s/n 72694-18) in June 1973. It was traded back to EMD after only a few years and most of its internal parts were used in the construction of F40PHR 378.
