| This high nosed GP9 was built by EMD in 12/1956 as IC #9193. After this photo was taken the loco would be rebuilt by the IC Paducah Shops into IC GP10 8193 in 1970. The rebuilt loco was sold to the MIdSouth Rial Corporation (MSRC) who would resell it to Gulf & Mississippi Railroad (GMSR but part of the KCS family) as their #8183.
