| Ten old General Electric locomotives were parked at the north end of the Wabtec test track, three miles north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant, waiting to be modernized. The units were Union Pacific AC4400CW 5714, C44-9W 9655, 9833, 9821, 9609, 9643 and 9771 with Norfolk Southern C44-9W’s 9590, 9588 and 9610. |
