| Built by EMD in January of 1966, Chicago & North Western SD40 #879 wore the "sunburst" yellow and green paint scheme handsomely. The loco was eventually absorbed into the UP roster but final disposition is currently unknown. No exact date, location or photographer was given for the photo from an original color negative. |
