PRR B1 #5688 - Pennsylvania RR
Title:  PRR B1 #5688 - Pennsylvania RR
Description:  Built in November of 1934 by the Juniata shops with the electric gear supplied by Allis-Chalmers, this little boxcab reminds me of the Lionel boxcab #520 I have although sitting much higher ln its 0-6-0 trucks. This unit survived through the Penn Central merger only to be scrapped on 5/2/1971. Based on the beat up appearance and faded keystone logo, I "guess-timation" as being 1965 since no information was written on the back. Forrest Trittenbach photo.
