Description:  The power for the RJ Corman job based out of Guthrie, KY is tied down in front of the Guthrie enginehoue on a late summer Saturday. This two locomotives usually work the job that runs south from here to Cumberland City, TN. This is the second Guthrie Shop that Corman has had. The original one was larger and was destroyed by a fire several years ago, taking several locomotives along with it.

Guthrie Shop
Title:  Guthrie Shop
Description:  R.J. Corman 3804 peaks its nose out of the shop at Guthrie on a dreary March Saturday. This shop is the second one in Guthrie. The original Guthrie shop was destroyed by fire in October, 2014 (also destroying several locomotives). This smaller shop was built to house the power for the Guthrie-Clarksville, TN leg of the railroad. A larger shop was constructed about twenty miles north of Guthrie at Russellville, KY and has assumed most of the Memphis Line repair duties.

Description:  The Cumberland City Turn rounds the curve approaching the Cumberland River Drawbridge at Clarksville. This was the site of the L & N's Clarksville Yard. The Clarksville Freight Depot stood a little south of here. The photographer is standing on the bridge the carried the old Tennessee Central Western Division over the Memphis Line.
