Beautifully clean 4-6-4 Hudson built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in November of 1937 stands in the Virden, Manitoba yard. Specs - serial #68972, class H-1c, 75" drivers, impressive 275 psi boiler pressure, 22x30" cylinders, engine weight of 354,000 lb, tractive effort of 45,254 lb. the loco was finally scrapped in November of 1959.
