Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9825 and another unit whose number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9825 was constructed in May of 1951 and retired in December of 1966 after just 15 years of revenue service. |
