First NB NS reroute train
Title:  First NB NS reroute train
Description:  After cutting off its train on the NS siding at Cordele, the power ran around the train then shoved the entire train over the interchange track by the diamond. It then proceeded north to Atlanta. You can see in the foreground the switch still open for the interchange. The train will back up far enough to let go of the road traffic at the numerous crossings. The move was taken slowly over the sharp curve of the interchange track. The reroutes were due to a derailment a few miles up the GS&F line to Macon.
